Clara Engel is a prolific songwriter and arrestingly original performer, currently based in Montreal. She has independently released seven albums, and has collaborated with musicians and artists from the UK, Brazil, Germany, USA, and Canada. British poet and novelist Jeremy Reed writes, “Clara Engel’s voice comes to me from that deepest of all places, imaginative space, from which she visually retrieves an inner landscape converted by breath into the rock equivalent of poetry.
