Remember those puffy animal stickers you used to collect as a kid? Elgin-Skye’s songs are like a musical version of those: quirky and colourful. She plays lo-fi acoustic indie-folk with a style reminiscent of artists such as Dan Mangan, and Joanna Newsom. Elgin-Skye’s politeness and humble disposition betray her booming, buoyant voice.
