PsynLangwage is a revolution in the Montreal Hip-Hop scene.

 

STORY: Three brothers (DaDestroya, Negrosapien and HemmRage) fed up with the direction that Hip-Hop music was taking, decided to band together and destroy everything in their path.

 

When people hear about Hip-Hop, they come to expect talk of jewelery, guns and other cheap tricks. PsynLangwage is here to change that. They mix Comedy, Crowd Participation and Paper Bag Heads to bring performing back to the art form.

Consisting of BK and Butter (aka Fat Jew and No Pun) and producer Dustin Leger, these two Mc’s and partner in rhyme are poised to punch the hipster glasses and rip the ironic t-shirts off the frame of the Montreal music scene. While only a band for just over a year, their unique brand of punk rock, hip hop and electronica has already built a solid fan base and has seen them share the stage with the likes of: D-Sisive, More or Les, Prince Po and AG. Orange Monsoon

Brooklyn's new quartet Orange Monsoon is a band delivering three things lost in the current club scene, instrumental proficiency, stellar arrangements and explosive energy. Born out of members of international touring indie band, The Neverbeens, this quartet has the experience playing together needed to get a crowd dancing. Guitarist Steve Ferrara and horn player Crawford Forbes are both musical veterans, having played in numerous bands together since the '90's. Drummer Katie Fuller and bass player Aaron Jaekel recently cut their teeth on the road with TNB. 2009 will prove to be a big year for Orange Monsoon as they are working on an extensive northeast touring schedule and the anticipated release of their debut Single, Wake Up Seed, in March ‘09  www.orangemonsoon.net
