Reclaim the Main!

Optative Theatrical Laboratories, Montréal, QC (culture-jamming)

St. Laurent boulevard, a.k.a. The Main is a historic site where "intrusive elements must be minimal". Yet this year authentic performance halls are being demolished to make way for glass office towers, carcinogenic products are sponsoring the street fair, and corporate spam is transforming the historic site into a capitalist nightmare where Disney meets Times Square. Join the wave of dramatic resistance and help reclaim our historic site from the corporations! There will be frequent culture-jams and a documentary is being made. To join the resistance, please see...

Journal intime de Montréal

Open World (Cie les Tambours Battants) France, street theatre

What gives you the strength to wake up every morning? What do you do (or what have you done) to make this world a better place? Some little performances, everyday different, a kind of diary of a city and the people who live in it, their rebellions, their engagements, their dreams, their hopes…
